Activitate la Cabinetul Parlamentar:

  • audiențe în cadrul programului săptămânal, întâlniri cu cetățenii; problematica a vizat: situații sociale deosebite din municipiul Suceava, inițiative sau modificări legislative privind sistemul de sănătate, inserția în piața muncii, cotele de gen, eliminarea plafonului indemnizației pentru creșterea copilului, medierea, demararea unor proiecte culturale, situația unor clădiri și monumente, sprijinirea persoanelor vârstnice;
  • redactarea de memorii, adrese și interpelări autorităților competente în vederea rezolvării problemelor venite de la cetățeni.

Activitate în Colegiu:

  • organizarea manifestărilor dedicate Zilei Internaționale a Francofoniei de la Biroul Francez, cu participarea profesorului Henri Boyer (Universitatea Montpellier III-Franța);
  • sprijinirea Asociației Părinților Copiilor cu Down și a unui caz umanitar în cadrul evenimentului „Femei de succes. Performanță la superlativ!” – 03.03.2016;
  • inaugurarea Centrului de Reușită Universitară la Universitatea „Ștefan cel Mare” Suceava – 23.03.2016.

Activitate profesională:

  • în cadrul Universității „Ștefan cel Mare” Suceava.
  • organizarea, cu ocazia Zilelor Francofoniei, a conferințelor susținute de prof. Henri BOYER și Maria Carmen ALEN GARABATO – Universitatea Paul Valéry Montpellier IIIdin Franța.

Activitate în cadrul PNL:

  • promovarea pachetului de legi privind introducerea cotelor de gen;
  • organizare și participare la evenimentele OF PNL Suceava: „Femeia în politică” – 05.03.2016 și „Agenda femeii din Suceava” – 18.03.2016;
  • participare la lansarea candidatului PNL la Primăria Fălticeni – 12.03.2016;
  • participare întâlniri cu locuitorii din cartierele: Burdujeni (14.03.2016), Zamca-Mărășești (17.03.2016), George Enescu (21.03.2016), Obcini (24.03.2016), Ițcani (26.03.2016), Burdujeni Sat (27.03.2016), Centru (28.03.2016);
  • participare ședințe BPN PNL – 07.03.2016, 21.03.2016, 29.03.2016;
  • participare ședință BPL PNL Suceava – 03.03.2016, 17.03.2016, 24.03.2016;
  • participare ședințe BPJ PNL Suceava – 11.03.2016, 18.03.2016, 25.03.2016.

Alte activități:

  • participare și susținerea unei alocuțiuni cu ocazia celebrării Zilei Internaționale a Francofoniei la Palatul Cotroceni, eveniment organizat sub Înaltul Patronaj al Președintelui României Klaus Werner Iohannis – 22.03.2016;
  • lansare volumului „La Valchie moderne – Valahia modernă”, semnată de prinţesa Aurelie Ghika (ediţie bilingvă îngrijită de Sanda-Maria Ardeleanu şi Alexandrina Ioniţă, traducere de Corina Iftimia) în cadrul Colecției „Intelectuali români de expresie franceză” – 07.03.2016;
  • participare la dezbaterea organizată de PNL, EPP și Societatea Liberală intitulată „Agenda Femeii din România” – 08.03.2016;
  • depunerea unei jerbe la Ambasada Belgiei în semn de solidaritate cu poporul belgian ca urmare a atentatelor din 22 martie 2016;
  • participare la cea de-a V-a ediție a Congresului Internațional Lauder cu tema Diplomacy&Global Affairs for High Schools – 30.03.2016.

În semn de solidaritate cu poporul belgian, astăzi, 30 martie 2016, a fost depusă la Ambasada Belgiei, o coroană de flori, în numele Președintei Delegației Parlamentului României la Adunarea Parlamentară a Francofoniei, doamna deputat Sanda-Maria Ardeleanu și a membrilor Delegației.

Dorim să exprimăm condoleanțele noastre pentru victimele atentatelor de la Bruxelles din   22 martie 2016, și toate urările  noastre de sănătate pentru cei care au fost răniți.

Suntem copleșiți de ororile care au lovit inima Europei. Acestea sunt acte de lașitate împotriva unor oameni nevinovați, dar și un afront la adresa tuturor valorilor instituțiilor europene.

Nu există nicio scuză pentru aceste atacuri. Am dori să subliniem faptul că viitorul aparține țărilor  noastre, care vor fi întotdeauna în favoarea valorilor libertății, democrației.

Vive la Belgique! Vive la Francophonie! Vive l’Union européenne et ses valeurs!

LADIES IN DIPLOMACY, PARLIAMENT AND PRESIDENTIAL ADMINISTRATION

Astăzi particip la cea de-a V-a ediție a Congresului Internațional Lauder care are ca temă generală, în acest an, Diplomacy&Global Affairs for High Schools. Cu acest prilej, voi avea o intervenție în cadrul dezbaterii Ladies in Diplomacy, Parliament and Presidential Administration.

Speech by prof. univ. DHC Sanda-Maria ARDELEANU, MP, Romanian Chamber of Deputies

President of the Delegation of the Romanian Parliament to the   Parliamentary Assembly of Francophony

 

Dear students,

Distinguished guests,

 

I would like, first of all, to thank you for the invitation to this important Conference, occasion with which I can discuss with the young generation.

Being here as Member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies, President of the Romanian Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly on Francophony, I would have liked to address you in French.

I am really pleased to have the opportunity to share with you the latest activity on the Francophony, and I would like to inform you that, on March 22 2016, at Cotroceni Palace, we celebrated the International Day of Francophony, at the invitation of the President of Romania,       Mr. Klaus Werner Iohannis, and in the presence of the distinguished Romanian and Francophone guests, representatives of francophone institutions headquartered in Bucharest, as well as francophone students from several cities in Romania.

In my speech, I told the students that the future of the Francophony belongs to them and that „it is the French who makes the difference.”

I would like to highlight, in this context, the important role of academic diplomacy played in the development of relations between Romania and other world areas.

I would also like to say that parliamentary diplomacy has the advantage of flexibility and unique opportunity to address very complex issues of international relations during the participation to international reunions. The effectiveness of parliamentary diplomacy actions consists in the using communication means with fewer constraints than at governmental level.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophony has taken an important step in the involvement of women in politics and decided to create, in 2002, the Network of Women Parliamentarians, which I have the honor to be part of since 2013.

The Network aims to promote greater participation of women in political, economic, social and cultural life, at national level and throughout the Francophone world.

The francophone women MPs, members of the Network, are very active in order to help strengthening the place and role of women in the francophone parliaments and in the international organizations, to promote exchanges of experience and encourage solidarity among women parliamentarians and, not least, to contribute to the defending the rights of women and children.

We develop cooperation actions in partnership with the International Organization of the Francophony. These actions consist in particular in the organization of information and awareness seminars on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), of the participation of women in politics, on the gender mainstreaming in budgets and the economic empowerment of women.

Another event organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophony is the Francophone Youth Parliament, held every two years, aiming to raise awareness of the young generation for the activities and actions in support of parliamentary diplomacy, as well as familiarization with activities of the Assembly. Last year, during the plenary session of the Asembly, young Francophones presented their resolutions adopted. These resolutions of the Francophone Youth Parliament will be presented at the next Francophone Summit.

The Romanian Chamber of Deputies and Pro Democratia Association organizes every year, the event The Youth Parliament, offering young people the opportunity to become familiar with the role and functions of both the Romanian Parliament and the doctrines of parliamentary parties, through a simulation of decision making in the Romanian Parliament.

Another aspect that I would like to share with you, if you don’t know it already, is that the Romanian Chamber of Deputies is organizing, since 2014, Internship programmes, dedicated to students and young graduates, following an admission process.

This type of programme offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience and to acquire deeper understanding about the process of legislating.

It is designed so that young people understand the mechanism of functioning of the central level. In this sense, it aims to achieve the following objectives: providing a direct and unique experiences for young people by involving them in activities in the Chamber of Deputies; acquiring experience and practical knowledge to young people and to facilitate understanding by them of lawmaking; encouragement of civic spirit of young people with potential to motivate them to accomplish professionally in Romania.

Finally, I would like to  say that, as Member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies, as President Romanian Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly on Francophony, as French language teacher, I make every effort to strengthen the Romania’s international profile within the Francophony and to promote the role of the parliamentary dimension in international politics.

La 98 de ani de la Unirea Basarabiei cu România, manifestările de pe cele două maluri ale Prutului sunt în măsură să mențină viu puternicul spirit unionist, înflăcărând toți românii care își doresc Unirea celor două state de limbă română în interiorul Uniunii Europene.

Sunt fericită că procentul celor care militează pentru unitatea spațiului românesc crește de la o zi la alta.
